Please Worship With Us! As Christians our faith is strengthened by worshiping with each other. We hope to see you in church every Sunday. Also, please remember that you need to worship a minimum of (2) two Weekend services each month to maintain your member tuition rate. Be aware that midweek services do not count as one of the required attendance
Emergency Notification - Hopefully, you recently received a an emergency card, compliments of an emergency training program grant funded through the Iroquois-Kankakee Regional Office of Education. Once you receive your card you should add the phone number of the person responsible for notifying you of an emergency (the list of names is found in back of PTL booklet) – this should be the same person who called you Wednesday night of the trial run. Please notify us if you did not receive the card(s) so that we can make sure you are on our list and that you have the information you need.

Girl's Basketball News – Coach Cowan's Notes… The J.V Lady Eagles participated in the 7 th grade LIC this past weekend at Donovan. The opening game was against Cissna Park . We started out very well and held a 8-4 lead. This however was the only lead we would ever have as the Eagles lost 23-30. The girls were back the next day to play the host Donovan team. The girls secured an easy victory 39-2. Two day tournament totals were Andrea 35 pts, Kennedy 11 pts, Rayann 7 pts, Billie 6 pts, and Anna 3 pts. Others that helped defensively were Shelby Spitz, Jessica, Maggie, and Haley.
The Lady Eagles varsity flew into the county tournament to lock horns with the Tri-Point Raiders Tuesday night. The game plan for the evening was to lay back and that's exactly what we did. Amazingly enough, we still hauled in 48 rebounds and won 42-18. Andrea led the team with 15 pts and 3 stls. Kandace added 10 pts and 5 stls Kayla 9 pts and 11 rebs, Kortnie 6 assts and 6 rebs, Hannah 11 rebs, Kennedy 5 rebs, Rachel 4 pts and 6 rebs, and Alex 1 reb, Billie 2 rebs, and Anna played good defense.
The Eagles were back to the county tournament on Wednesday night to take on the Raiders of Iroquois West. We had something to prove this night since we only beat the Raiders by eight points the first time we played. The girls didn't look very sharp at first as we made silly mistakes. The second half was smooth as butter as we ran away with the game 42-23. Kortnie led the way with 15 pts and 8 stls. Andrea added 10 pts and 5 stls, Kayla 9 pts and 9 rebs, Kandace 6 pts and 5 stls, Hannah 4 pts and 3 rebs, and Kennedy 2 stls. Rachel, Billie, and Anna had 1 rebound each. The championship is Thursday Nov. 13 th at 7:15 at Clifton . Let's show our church and school spirit and pack this gym. GO EAGLES!!!!!
